The Rocky Mountains are a dominant geographic feature of the North American continent. Few mountain ranges in the world can stand up to the Rockies in terms of prominence and importance. They stretch over 3000 miles from northern British Columbia to northern New Mexico.

The centerpiece of the Rockies is of course, Colorado. There are 58 named peaked in the state rising 14,000 feet above sea level. While there are several lists that give different numbers based on prominence, 58 is the currently accepted number. One of the hardest and most technically challenging peak-bagging lists in the country, this was one of my main motivations behind moving to CO in 2024.

Currently I have completed 15/58, but plan to finish up this list in the next year or so. Scroll around on the map below to see to the name, elevation, and completion date of each of the fifty-eight Colorado fourteeners.
